Michael Buble Crazy Love Tour 2011

Remind me NOT to go to the next Michael Buble concert.

I always say that but end up rushing to be the first to buy the tix the day it goes on sale :P I've never missed any of his concerts here.

The best parts of a concert is one where you can still recall one week after. The forgettable bits are obviously not even worth mentioning.

When 'Bubbles' thank the crowd for spending your hard-earned money, I totally could relate to the 'hard-earned' bit. Oh yes, mine was definitely hard-earned. Thanks to some disposable cash I had earned from escorting, I could buy my Category 1 concert tickets, the moment I heard he was coming, which was 3 months ago. But I was already one week late when I heard about it so that was why I ended up with this lousy seat (obviously not a Class 95fm listener).

On the whole, I have to honestly say that I did not enjoy the concert (there goes my $291 out the window). A lot of the songs he performed were unfamiliar, most of it were slow and it definitely was void of energy and fun. Throughout the entire concert, I couldn't stop thinking to myself, 'Oh how I really enjoyed the Mika concert', ' The Mika concert was so much more fun'. That was how deep the impression Mika left on me but definitely not Bubbles.

I wished he had performed more of his dancy-numbers like Sway or at least more medleys from his first album, which was what made his fans first fell head over heels over him.

But it was not all bad. I felt that he is much funnier this time round. Since when did this suave guy turn into a funny bloke? It was entertaining to see that side of him, especially when he was introducing his band. Because of the jokes, I could actually remember almost every member; from the guy from Haiti, to the guy who just had a newborn baby, to the nerd who plays the saxaphone! (I think he's pretty hot though.. love nerds!!!!)

The set and stage design was also rather lovely and I could see that they put in some effort into it (unlike most other concerts with plain 'I can't be bothered with Singapore' half-hearted kinda design). The music and accoustics were also pretty good that at some parts of the concert, I found myself enjoying the music and the band more than the artiste himself.

Unfortunately, I left the concert feeling depressed. Not as a figure of speech but really, I felt terribly sad. Then I remembered why I dont have a single Bubble song in my mp3 collection (yeah, and I call myself a fan). All the love songs had triggered that nerve that I have been suppressing over the years. As Bubbles crooned to 'I Just Havent Met You Yet', it then hit me - there isnt one real man in my life that I miss or have any feelings for. I have successfully devoid myself of love!

But isnt that what I've always wanted? To be emotionally independent and self-suffiecient - mission accomplished!

Yes...

... but why does it suddenly feel so cold and empty where I'm sitting?

I remember, before, I could imagine the face of that guy I'm crushing on, or that fella from far-far-away whom I wish could be mine. I know I could never have them but at least I had that 'motivation' or how do you put it, uh, like that sense of hope. But right now, there is no one that I have hopes for or is looking forward to meet. In my kind of situation, love songs simply become meaningless and sounds gibberish.

I could very well relate to this one song though... and this is the version in my head:

Me and Mr Jones,
we got a thing going on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it go now

We meet every day at the same cafe
Six-thirty and no one knows he'll be there
Holding hands, making all kinds of plans
While the jukebox plays our favorite song

Me and Mr Mrs Jones,
Mr Jones, Mr Jones
We got a thing going on
We both know that it's wrong
But it's much too strong to let it go now

We gotta be extra careful
That we don't build our hopes too high
Cause he's got his own obligations and so do I
Me, me and Mr...
Mr Jones, Mr Jones, Mr Jones

Well, it's time for us to be leaving
And it hurts so much, it hurts so much inside
And now he'll go his way, I'll go mine
But tomorrow we'll meet at the same place, the same time
Me and Mr Jones, Mr Jones, Mr Jones

-----

After the concert, I just felt so depressed that I decided to walk a bit instead of heading straight for the tube. I really needed someone to talk to (oh yeah, btw I went to the concert alone, as always) and to hear a familiar voice only to realise that I have no one. None.

I gotta describe that moment as my moment of ultimate weakness because before I knew it, I dialled Pierre's number. Pierre, btw, is one of my regular clients, infact he is the one I am closest to at this point of time. He is also very married, with children, yet very, ermm, 'fond' of me too. Pierre was in Shanghai on a business trip but if I couldnt talk to him, the arteries in my heart might explode.

Escort-411: This is a big no-no. Thats why I said it was my moment of weakness.

I have NEVER called up my clients, regular or not, because its the discretion rule. But we ended up chatting on the phone for over an hour, yeah, long-distance (oh god, please protect me from my phone bills later this month) and I swear when I first heard his voice when he picked up, I just wanted to cry. I have underestimated the comfort of a familiar voice.

I felt a tad better after that. The tears were saved from downfall but I'm staying well away from the love songs or it might trigger these flood gates again.

And I still felt that I didn't get my money's worth from Bubble's concert this year. Disappointing.

x.

Mika Concert in Singapore

More pics from the concert. Not too amazing quality but I'm still hung over. Jumped like crazy to every song, I felt my boobs were gonna fall off (must be getting my period by tomorrow. 'Em boobs are so swollen they look like they're gonna explode).

Anw, I love the set so much.. and the stage.. the props.. were so pretty! Gotta admit that I didnt know each and every song but when I wasnt singing along, I was listening closely to the lyrics and I gotta say that I can relate to most things that he's singin about. He might be singing in falsetto but some of the songs are pretty melancholic, I totally feel it. Sugar-coated sorrow - very familiar concept. Feel very inspired by Mika eversince that night... so inspired that I think I wanna revamp this blog to Mika's style. Let's just wait and see if it eventually happens.

Snuffed

Interesting turn of events today. So interesting that it will go down in history as the day that changed everything.

"The tribe has spoken"... "It's time for you to go."

Today marked the elimination episode of my day job. The old fucker discontinued my services. Upset? Damn fucking right I am.

Today also marked a full year of slaving away at that shit hole of an office. Not to be mistaken as being sour grapes but many months ago, I did make a promise to not stay any longer than 12 titles. Learn as much as you can and then run - I remember ranting in another blog of mine. And the prophecy came true.

Somehow, I am still having mixed emotions about this. Half of me is upset - angry upset, while another half is just so damn relieved. Just that perhaps I will feel completely relieved when I've managed to clinch another position. Easily. At another company. Simply to proof that it is their loss. Not mine.

Another reason why I am not depressed-sad kind of upset, is cause in the final heart-to-heart talk that I had with my direct boss, we actually managed to sort out our misunderstandings and disagreements..

"...because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Just as long as my relationship with her is back on track and she's no longer upset with me, I am at ease. She's the only one that matters most to me and I really don't wish to let her down. At least I know that she and my other boss are on my side. Its just that old fucker at the top that hates my guts.

Like a Survivors game of Heroes vs Villians, I might be eliminated but somehow I can still leave with my head held high and take my exit stride like a true hero. I am more than estatic to leave that shit-hole, not that I intended to stay for too long and grow old and mouldy in the air-conditioned comfort.

Now the only step left to complete the rites as the fallen hero, is to find another job. fast. pronto!

Another reason why I am pretty pleased with myself is cos someone's taking me to the Patrizio Buanne concert. You know how I've been dying to go but refuse to fork it out of my own pocket. Well, so I tried my luck and 'dangled the carrot' in the classifieds. My companionship in exchange for a night-out 'date' to watch Patrizio Buanne.

As the date draws near and I'm still pfftt-ing whenever Patrizio goes 'Hey Mambo... Mambo Italiano' in the tv ads, I almost screamed when I saw that someone has finally taken the bait. Phewww... just when I almost lost hope.

So yeah, I'm gonna Mambo my way to the pinnacle. It ain't over till its over, baby. This is not the end. This is the beginning. The beginning to that old fuckers end. He will pay. Oh yes he will. Maybe not tomorrow, or the day after. He better pray he wont live too long cos he would rather roll over and die than to to see the day I get my payback.

Cos nobody... NOBODY snuffs the Queen.

xoxo

Kelly Clarkson 'All I Wanted' Concert

Pretty good view from my seat. Kelly is such an awesome singer. She sang right to my heart. Dody texted me today. His excuse for going missing... Crap excuse. I'm not buying it. He texted me during the concert. Apparently his wife is also at the concert. Hahah waatever. The song that I felt most was 'Already Gone' - "You can't make it feel right.. When you know that it's wrong.. There's no moving on.. So I'm already gone"...

"Already Gone"

Remember all the things we wanted
Now all our memories, they're haunted
We were always meant to say goodbye

Even with our fists held high
It never would have work out right, yeah
We were never meant for do or die

I didn't want us to burn out
I didn't come here to hurt you now I can't stop

[Chorus]
I want you to know
That it doesn't matter
Where we take this road
But someone's gotta go

And I want you to know
You couldn't have loved me better
But I want you to move on
So I'm already gone

Looking at you makes it harder
But I know that you'll find another
That doesn't always make you wanna cry

It started with the perfect kiss then
We could feel the poison set in
"Perfect" couldn't keep this love alive

You know that I love you so
I love you enough to let you go

[Chorus]

You can't make it feel right
When you know that it's wrong
I'm already gone, already gone
There's no moving on
So I'm already gone

Ahhh already gone, already gone, already gone
Ahhh already gone, already gone, already gone

I'm the 7-Year-Itch

I gotta admit I'm very much behind in updating my blog. You probably guessed it right. Somehow I've slipped into an affair with a certain gentleman I'ld like to call Dody (previously referred to as Shrek, but now I feel like it doesn't do justice... to Shrek. Heh.)

11.44am - Rainy Monday
I'm stranded at home due to the fabulously pouring rain. This is how Monday mornings should be. I've already called the office to say I'm out running errands and might not come in today. This was followed by a few other sms-es from colleagues (inc my boss) saying that they're not coming in to work also. Haha. This is why I love my day job.

As I was saying earlier, yeah... I think I'm having an affair with a married man. Wow. Another firsts box checked. Last Saturday, Dody finally asked me over to his place and we made love.

I've known Dody for 20 days now (inc. today) and last Saturday after that love-ly episode, I ended up spaced and zoned out throughout the rest of the day. That night, at a concert that I had to attend, I finally burst and started crying at one of the songs.

I still find it mind-boggling how a man can have an emotional affair behind his wife. When I was at Dody's place, I saw the pretty framed pictures of him and his wife. Now I knw what Dody meant when he once before said, "One day you'll see the resemblance you have to my wife"... and its true. His wife and I looked like we could be sisters. Infact, I think his wife looks even better that me. But then again, those were his wedding pics from 7 years ago.

Oh yes, did I mention that I'm his 7-year-itch...?

WHY?? WHY?!!! How can a man bring himself to break that wedding vow?

Since I first met Dody, we've only met at his restaurant. I've been there about 4 to 5 times and even have my own special table. Table 60. We'd make out on his couch at the back of the dining area after closing time and I'ld come back like 3 in the morning everytime.

Dody is not a paying customer. More like a sugar daddy who feeds me well. Too well cos I'm putting on a bit of weight no thanks to the late night suppers. He makes the best coffee, showers me with chocolates, foots my cab bills and he checks up on my all the time. With Dody, I feel pretty loved and I enjoy his care and attention.

But after all that, as much as I promised not to judge... I still dont understand how a man can have the heart to bring another woman into the same bed where he and his wife makes love.

Dody says he loves me. But I'm already thinking of how I to get myself out of this. After Popeye, I've learnt my lesson. No love. Nooooo wayyy. Not again. L-O-V-E is just another word I'll never learn to pronounce.

On the downside, I havent been able to get much whoring done with Dody around. Wait. I've only done the Geologist guy and Popeye... yeah, I think that was it.

If I ever have to get rated, I'ld probably be one of the poorly rated whores who fails terribly when it comes to emotions. To date, I've revealed my identity to 2 men - Popeye and Dody. *sighs*

Anw, end of the month is looming. Time for the 'Fifth Wave'... new pictures, new name... still wondering if I should get a new number cos I might lose my regulars. *would have met up with another regular this morning if not for Aunt Mary who is in town :P Then again, I'm pretty relieved when 'she' visits*

Reminder to self: Meeting a 30-something italiano this week.... looking forward to that.

Verdict: Time to move on from Dody. I will miss him but I'll survive.

A for Adam

I never really got around to talking about how things went with Adam (Lambert) last Friday, after being overshadowed by the break-up and the accident.

We met at the Ritz. The guy was nice. Really. He was very friendly and I can just see him as a very sexy gay diva entertainer, in a few years. I stood up nicely to around his shoulders. Got to spend only about half an hour with him, put together... got a nice hug and all. All the time that I was in his presence, all I could think of was his sexy pictures in DETAILS magazine. Adam was as gay as any gay guy could ever be. No doubt about it.

It was all lil tough to fantasize about him as a man, under all that eye-makeup and dark eye kohl pencil. Adam had a really nice built. Big strong shoulders. Not too skinny, not too bulky. I tried to imagine him without make-up, without any hair products, just a regular guy in t-shirt and jeans with a not so high voice.

My eyes panned down to his crotch. Adam looks HOT in those skinnys. I wonder how he'd enjoy a blowjob. From a girl. Would he enjoy it better if it was from a guy? He is very much gay afterall. I really won't mind sucking him for free. He dont need to scream (though thats what he does best) I just wanna hear him moan... *lol*
Snoopin around at Adam's pics of him kissin some boys, makes his even more desirable. It stirred my imagination of the probability of warming up to girls. My only memory of kissing a girl was when I was 6. I had been the practice dummy to a much older girl (schoolgirl in green polkadots. heh) whom was probably a lesbian. It was only many years later that I fully understood what exactly happened.

Adam's performance at the showcase was totally orgasmic although accoustic. I had a pretty view of Adam from my seat. No, not with them screaming fans on the balcony. It was quite unfortunate that the fans had to cramp up on the second floor though. I felt that they should be given a mosh-pit for those hours they stood out for Adam.

Hopefully I get to meet some fuckable non-gay celebrity in the future.
No. Anyone but Jack Neo, thank you.

xoxo.

★Backstreet Boys★ feat. Dr. K

I really shouldn't have pressed that button. Itchy fingers!!! I should not have checked my email on my phone before the concert. In the end, I couldn't stop thinking about the contents of the email and got very distracted, bothered and to a certain degree.... upset. At every BSB song which I didn't know the words (mostly the new songs), all I could think about was that STUPID email. Fuck. (See Dr. K's email below)Smiley

Smiley See the kind of emails I get? Now he's giving me advice about losing weight??! It has been something which I've been battling my entire life. I havent had rice for 2-weeks now and I am so bloody hungry, all I can think about is stuffing my face.

Best girl in the city???... Should I be flattered or insulted, coming from him.

Smiley Arrrrggggghhhhhhh. Bloody pek chek, man!

★As Long As You (ermm) Pay Me?★

The Backstreet Boys concert was nice. Nothing fantastic or unexpectedly awesome. But nice. At this age, its starting to seem kinda lame... watching 30-something year old men, dancing in sync... *lol* Lame but really fun cos I got to scream my lungs out for Howie.

I hated the female dancers prancing around the boys like strippers. They're rather useless really. All we (the fans) came for was to see the Boys, not your skinny white ass... its like, stop touching my Backstreet Boys, you whore!!! >( ...

Wait. See? I'm not even allowed to say that anymore without feeling a pinch. Whore. Bahh!

The video clips of the Boyz in some movie scenes were really cute. Howie was in Fast & Furious, AJ was in some movie with Edward Norton, Nick was in The Matrix and my utter most favourite one was by Brian in Enchanted. It was hilarious... so funny and cuteeee Smiley

Anw I was tickled while singing along to one of BSB's songs... As Long As You Love Me. It sorta inspired me to come up with my version of the song:

As Long As You Pay Me Emoticon

Although loneliness has always been a friend of mine
I'm putting my boobs in your hands
People say I'm crazy cos I like to grind
Risking and taking a chance

And how you made me cum is still a mystery
I can't get you out of my bed
Don't care what is written in your history
As long as its is not herpes or syphilis

Chorus:
I don't care who you are
Where you're from
What you did
As long as you pay me
Who you are
Where you're from
Don't care what you did
As long as you pay me

Every dirty little thing that you have said and done
Feels like it's deep within me... (push it harder)
Doesn't really matter if you're on the run
We can always have a quickie

(Chorus)

Bridge:
I've tried to hide it so that no one knows
But I guess it shows
When you look into my eyes
Where we do it and where you're cumming on
I don't care, as long as you pay me, baby...

(Repeat Chorus)
