Don't say that I didn't warn you. The next few months or probably for the entire 2011, I will be embracing and morphing into everything 'Burlesque' (hmm, maybe I'm giving away too much clues about my identity).
It's not really because of the Christina Aguilera movie 'Burlesque' that I am suddenly inspired. The movie hasnt even started screening in Singapore yet (supposed to go watch the preview this Thursday, but a 4-figured booking came in, so how can I resist). Means I'll have to wait and watch it when it opens on 13th Jan, like the other Burlesque wanna-be's.
Eversince I was in school, I have always been greatly influenced by the vintage and retro styles, from fashion to decor. And I have always been intrigued by the Burlesque diva 'Dita Von Teese'. I guess the movie Burlesque kinda reminded me of how much I loved the 1950s glam and now I'm ready to en-trance myself in it all over again.
It's a life, it's a style, it's a need, it's Burlesque Express!!!
