Ouchhhhhh....
Well, actually not really. Heh.
It wasn't that painful but it was damn scary to see the nurse draw out that much blood out of your arm. I'm not really afraid of looking at blood (like some ppl) but I have to admit that I felt kinda queasy seeing the deep red liquid flowing into the test-tube. It made my stomache feel a lil weak.
I actually wanted to take a snapshot of my arm then but the nurse said I'm not suppose to move so I borrowed an image from another blog. It really looked like this...
Once done, the nurse pressed a wool-pad onto the hole on my arm and pasted a band-aid over it. She then asked me to bend my arm for abt 10 mins before she hushed me out of the room.
I was then told to go to my final stop, which is counter 8 to make the payment. I was seriously praying hard that it wouldn't burn a hole in my purse cos I only brought so much cash.
$69.85...
Ok that's not too bad. Almost half of what my neighbourhood clinic charged. Just make sure though that you have about 2 hrs to spare, if you decide to seek services at the polyclinic. Other than that... Singapore polyclinics are pretty fine and efficient.
